Debra Nash

MSc, M.Inst.GA, UKCP

I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Group Analyst. I have a Private Practice with a consulting room in central Shrewsbury. I offer individual and group psychotherapy, counselling and supervision. I provide workshops, training, supervision and consultation within the NHS and Education and facilitate Psychotherapy Groups, Personal Development Groups, Staff Groups and Experiential Groups in a range of settings and on various training courses. I am Director of Courses, Manchester, at the Institute of Group Analysis and a Member of the National Training Advisory Group.

Earlier in my career I worked at Senior Manager level in education and therefore have experience of managing large multi-disciplinary teams. I have a particular interest in enhancing people's potential at work by helping them to develop their understanding of the role of relationships and group dynamics in the workplace. This can be done as part of Role Consultation, Supervision or in a Professional Development Group.

I have completed an MSc with the British Association of Psychotherapists and a Professional Training with the Institute of Group Analysis. I am registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and a Member of the Institute of Group Analysis. I am a Training Group Analyst which means I am accredited by the IGA to offer therapy to students wishing to train in Group Analysis.
